Island Art

Busy Kailua-Kona is a tourist haven, but if you look closely, you’ll also find the ats, ranging from Island crafts to jewelry to Japanese gyotaku prints made from just-caught fish. A number of galleries offer fine paintings, sculpture, prints and more by members of the active West Hawai‘i Arts Guild. The Eastwest Fine Arts Gallery (808-329-0606) has an extensive collection of work by local and international artists.
